Each August, reenactors converge on the Old Washington section of Maysville for the Civil War Living History Weekend.  Union and Confederate forces engage in mock battles, complete with cannon fire, while other interpreters  located around the village discuss and demonstrate what life was like during the war.  For a calendar of other interesting activities held in this historic village, click here.
