early January snowfall creates a winter wonderland by powdering
the trees and bushes lining the "old" highway to
downtown Maysville. The steep and tightly curved road is a
favored shortcut for locals. Those simply passing through
will find that making the descent on U.S. 68 is less demanding, but not as
scenic.
